Bitmoji Classroom
Reflection
This was a fun experience making this bimoji classroom and being able to search and add on websites to objects. I did made a few gifs but it doesn't show on here. I tried doing it on the embed code >/< and I got completely lost so I just add it on as if it were to be a presentation. It sucks because I did spend a long time on making this and the music that I added on top isn't able to be clicked on. I would say if you do plan on making this Bitmoji classroom get ready to spend 2 plus hours on trying to decorate and find fun things to add on. This was cool because it looks like a game and it provides useful links. Like for example where to contact me on instagram, how to stay organize, a mural that my step brother was part of , and my two cats which are Milo(black) and Coco (orange). I added my cats because they are so important to me and if I did choose to become a teacher I would love to show my students to them. The things that are supposed to be moving as a gif is the welcome sign which spins, Ralph Wiggum (Simpson character) which gives an awkward wave, and the butterfly that changes into multiple butterflies.
The link on the left side next to the Ecuador flag, briefly talks about the covid vaccine scandal and on how they had to change their health minister because of it, for more information you can go ahead and click on the link. I wanted this to be a part of my class room because my dads Ecuadorian and he always wants me to look up daily news upon his country and it is always so interesting to learn new things in Ecuador.
The link that is on top right of the Mural," The new Giants" is based upon how latinos are the first in line to work during the pandemic whether if its picking food, supermarkets, working with meat, or working to clean houses. This mural is by Marlene Nancy Lopez and was helped with community and my step brother Abraham. This mural is located in the, Consulado de Mexico en Los Angeles. For more information I added my brothers instagram which talks about more about the artist and his experience while working on this journey with her.
The link that is in the middle on top of the books, briefly provides tips on how to stay organize and it explains many ways on how to keep track of things while balancing work, school, and free time. I wanted to add this in my classroom because I wanted to help out students to provide ways that will help them to keep organize, balance out their schedules, and make things less stressful during this pandemic. I know for a fact that I am not the only one who feels as if this semester came with loads of work.
Finally this is a great way to find different resources, learn new things upon one another, and provide an experienece of how each one of us will show our classroom to our students.
